Sean McVay and GM Les Snead Sign Rams New Contracts, What's Next for Matthew Stafford?
The Los Angeles Rams announced contract extensions for head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead on Monday.
The next question for the pair will be who fills out the offensive coordinator job after Mike LaFleur was hired by the Arizona Cardinals as head coach.

The obvious frontrunner will be passing-game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase, who interviewed for head-coaching vacancies this cycle. A promotion would make sense for the up-and-coming offensive mind.
An experienced option like Kliff Kingsbury or New England Patriots passing game coordinator Thomas Brown, who spent several years in Los Angeles, would also be solid options.
The future of quarterback Matthew Stafford also remains very much up in the air, and if he decides to continue playing an extension would make sense.
Albert Breer of SI.com also wrote Monday that he'd be "pretty surprised if Stafford isn't back playing for the Rams next year. I was way less sure about it at this point last year (because of the contract situation)."
Meanwhile, McVay also let it be known he expects receiver Davante Adams to return for a second season with the team:
The McVay-Snead partnership will continue regardless, and it's been a successful duo. In nine seasons together, the pair have led the Rams to a 92-57 record, seven playoff appearances, two Super Bowl berths and one title. In total, Snead has served as the organization's general manager since 2012, while McVay took over as head coach in 2017.
"As we enter their 10th season together, it is only fitting to reflect on the tremendous success Sean and Les have brought to this franchise, and the indelible impact they have made on Los Angeles and the NFL," Rams owner and chairman Stan Kroenke said in a statement. "They continue to embody the standard of this franchise to compete for championships, consistently delivering a product that our fans and city can be proud of. Their collaboration embodies the We Then Me ethos we seek in our players, coaches and staff, and we are thrilled they will be leading the Los Angeles Rams for years to come."
