USC Football Top Remaining Recruits and 2026 Recruiting Class Predictions
The USC Trojans haven't won a conference title since 2017, and they've failed to make the College Football Playoff (CFP) in two seasons under head coach Lincoln Riley. However, the Trojans hope that they can turn the proverbial corner sooner rather than later.
A strong 2026 recruiting class would certainly help, and it appears as if USC will have exactly that. Heading into the regular national signing period—which will open on Wednesday—the Trojans have the nation's top-ranked recruiting class, according to 247Sports' rankings.
How is USC's class shaping up? Will the Trojans have a chance to add even more talent before the spring? Let's take a look.

Top Remaining Recruits
3 of 4
Realistically, the Trojans aren't likely to add any notable names to their already impressive recruiting class. The reality is that most programs are already focused on the 2027 cycle, and there just aren't many uncommitted recruits out there.
4-star defensive lineman Dylan Beerymon of Ouachita Parish High School (Monroe, LA) is the only uncommitted recruit among the top 300 players on 247Sports' composite rankings.
Berymon is the 197th-ranked recruit on 247Sports' board, and USC isn't among his finalists.
"Right now, it is going to be between Kentucky and Nebraska," Berymon told Rivals' Chad Simmons in December.
A few other intriguing recruits are committed but not signed, including Notre Dame quarterback and recent 2026 reclass Teddy Jarrard. There's always a chance that one of these prospects changes commitments before officially signing.
According to Rivals' Chad Simmons, Georgia and Indiana are both hoping to snatch Jarrard away from the Irish.
However, all of USC's commits have already signed, and most are already enrolled.
Recruiting Class Predictions
4 of 4
Fans should take comfort in the fact that USC already has the nation's top 2026 recruiting class, because there won't be many changes during the regular signing period. Major programs like the Trojans are firmly focused on securing next year's top recruits.
"They're just letting me know I'm one of the big priorities and one of the leaders in the 2027 class," 4-star cornerback Jailen Hill of St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) recently said, per Adam Gorney of Rivals.
The good news is that the Trojans aren't in any real danger of losing a top recruit ahead of the 2026 season. The prediction here is that USC maintains its top-ranked class, while no other program manages to add enough to threaten the Trojans' position.
