Kevin Durant Responds to Trolls over Giannis Trade Rumors and Dillon Brooks Scoring 40
Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant was surprised to see his name come up regarding the trade rumors surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
SiriusXM NBA Radio's Justin Termine wrote about Antetokounmpo's potential preference to avoid a team that plays in a city with cold weather such as the Minnesota Timberwolves and brought up Durant in a post on X, leading to some confusion from the 15-time All-Star.

ESPN's Shams Charania previously reported that Durant had "no desire" to join the Timberwolves amid his murky future with the Phoenix Suns in June 2025.
Durant also replied to a fan bringing up the fact that Phoenix wing Dillon Brooks has more 40-point games than him as a member of the Suns organization, referencing his 31,736 career points.
When another fan reminded him that he has yet to record a 60-point game in his career, he fired back with his recent rise to No. 6 on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
Durant has openly discussed his willingness to engage with posts trolling him on social media and doesn't appear to take the criticism too seriously.
After all, he has two championships and an MVP award under his belt.
The 37-year-old has remained an elite three-level scorer during his inaugural season with the Rockets, averaging 26.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game on 51.4/40.8/88.6 shooting splits.
Houston currently sits at No. 4 in the Western Conference standings with a 29-17 record.
