Lakers' Bronny James Reacts to 'We Want Bronny!' Chant and Highlight Dunk in Return to Cleveland
Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James commented Wednesday on the support he received from Cleveland Cavaliers fans during the Lakers' 129-99 road loss to the Cavs.
With Cleveland holding a big lead, fans chanted for Bronny to enter the game, and they got what they wanted, as the son of legendary NBA superstar LeBron James went on to play eight minutes off the bench.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Bronny said, "It was crazy. It was a lot different than every other 'We want Bronny!' chant, so I was just excited to go out there and play. I'm always ready to go out and play, whether that's when the entire arena is saying, 'We want Bronny!' or no one is."

Report on KD Burner 'Roller Coaster'

LeBron's Legacy Safe
Bronny made the most of his playing time, as he finished with eight points on 3-of-3 shooting from the field to go along with one assist and one steal.
The biggest reaction from the crowd occurred when he generated a steal and parlayed it into a breakaway dunk.
Like his famous father, Bronny is from Akron, Ohio, making the Cavs his de facto hometown team. LeBron spent 11 of his 23 NBA seasons with the Cavaliers as well, leading them to their first and only championship in 2016.
LeBron grew emotional when the Cavs played a tribute video honoring him, and Bronny admitted that the combination of that and his grandmother, Gloria James, being on hand to watch got to him as well, saying, "I was almost emotional myself."
The elder James, who is 41, noted that Wednesday could have marked his last ever game in Cleveland, as retirement is a possibility at the end of the season.
If it was indeed LeBron's last time playing in Cleveland, the result wasn't what he wanted, but plenty of memories were made thanks to the manner in which the fans embraced both him and Bronny.
