Real Madrid Top 2026 Deloitte Football Money League After $1.3B in Revenue, Full Rankings

Real Madrid's financial dominance continued heading into 2026.

BBC Sport shared the latest Deloitte Football Money League rankings, which revealed Real Madrid generated the most revenue of the world's clubs. Chris Weatherspoon of The Athletic noted it is the third straight time and the 15th time in 21 seasons Real Madrid has been atop the list.

Here is a look at the full set of rankings:

It should be noted the annual Deloitte list only includes revenues, which does not necessarily equate to the most profitable teams in the world. After all, costs are a contributing factor to the bottom line for every club, and they are often higher for the top ones.

Still, Real Madrid topped the list with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and Liverpool rounding out the top five.

The top four teams all generated additional revenue with deep runs in the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.

While Liverpool was the highest-ranking English club thanks in large part to their Premier League title, Weatherspoon noted this is the first time in the 29-year history of the Deloitte Football Money League rankings that no English team finished in the top four.

There was still plenty of representation in the top 10, although Manchester United may not be thrilled with an eighth-place finish.

According to ESPN, it is the club's lowest position in its history after it was "once regarded as the blueprint for commercial success in football." Manchester United finished atop this list 10 times, yet the most recent one was nearly a decade ago in 2017.

They did not reach the Champions League in 2024-25 and likely won't return to the top of this list in the immediate future either after recent play.

"The club is set to generate even less matchday revenue in the current season due to their total absence from European competition, and their failure to go past the first hurdle in either domestic cup means they will play only 20 competitive fixtures at Old Trafford in 2025-26," per ESPN.

If Real Madrid is going to have a challenger for the next set of rankings, it will surely have to come from somewhere else.
