Indiana Parade 2026 Route, Date, Time, Live Stream and TV Info
Indiana University announced Tuesday that the Indiana Hoosiers football team's national championship celebration will take place Saturday at 1 p.m.
While championship-winning teams typically commemorate the occasion with a parade, IU has yet to reveal if that is the case. The location of the celebration—regardless of its form—hasn't yet been announced either.
On Monday night, Indiana won its first football national title in program history, beating the Miami Hurricanes 27-21 in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
After shocking the college football world in 2024 by reaching the College Football Playoff in the first season under head coach Curt Cignetti, Indiana took another massive step forward in 2025.
Thanks in large part to the arrival of Cal transfer Fernando Mendoza at quarterback, the Hoosiers won the Big Ten, blew out both Alabama and Oregon in the CFP, and then outlasted Miami in the natty to finish the season a perfect 16-0.
On top of that, Mendoza won the Heisman Trophy as the best player in college football, putting him in position to potentially be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Indiana has always been viewed as a basketball school due to its five national championships in men's basketball, but Cignetti, Mendoza and Co. have changed the narrative, and they will acknowledge that fact on Saturday.
