76ers' Tyrese Maxey Lands New Balance Signature Shoe, When Will It Be Released?

Adam WellsJan 20, 2026

Fresh off being named an All-Star starter for the first time in his career, Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey is also getting his own signature shoe in 2026.

Per ESPN's Shams Charania, New Balance will release the shoe later this year after Maxey signed a new endorsement deal with the company.

Maxey originally signed with New Balance in January 2023, midway through his third season with the Sixers.

New Balance's group of NBA athletes at that time was led by Kawhi Leonard, Jamal Murray, Zach LaVine and Dejounte Murray. Its rotation has continued to expand, with the highest-profile signing coming in August 2024 when Cooper Flagg signed a marketing deal before his freshman year at Duke.

The initial agreement with Maxey looks terrific now because he has emerged as one of the best guards in the NBA. He was named Most Improved Player and earned his first All-Star selection during the 2023-24 season.

Injuries limited Maxey to just 52 games last season, but he still set a then-career-high with 26.2 points per game.

This season has seen Maxey continue to level up on the court. The 25-year-old is one of three players averaging at least 30.0 points per game, along with Luka Dončić and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

When the NBA announced the starters for the 2026 All-Star Game on Monday, Maxey was among the five Eastern Conference players. He's the first Sixers guard to be named an All-Star starter since Allen Iverson in 2010.
