Fan voting for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game officially concluded Wednesday ahead of Monday's announcement.

Dončić has been on an absolute tear this season, leading the league with an average of 33.3 points to go along with 8.6 assists. He's topped the 30-point mark in eight of his last 11 games, including a 42-point performance in a loss to the Sacramento Kings last Monday night.

Of course, one of the top storylines surrounding the All-Star Game this year is the status of Dončić's teammate LeBron James. The 41-year-old has missed 17 games for the Lakers this season, but he's maintained his usual level of dominance with an average of 26.6 points across nine games this month.

James has missed the cut for the All-Star Game just once in his legendary career, and it happened during his rookie season. Many will be wondering if a 22nd straight All-Star appearance is in the cards for James this season, and it's likely that he would be in a reserve role if he is selected.

There's a chance James could be an injury replacement for the All-Star Game, and NBA insider Marc Stein also previously reported that commissioner Adam Silver "will almost certainly invite James to participate as some sort of commissioner's pick," so that could be a fallback option for him.

NBA All-Star Weekend will be held in Los Angeles from Feb. 13-15. This year will feature a new U.S. vs. World format in which two teams of U.S. players and one team of international players will compete in a round-robin tournament featuring four 12-minute games.
