Texans Plane Delayed 7+ Hours Returning to Houston Due to Weather Issues After Game vs. Patriots
The Houston Texans have had even more time to stew over their 28-16 loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC divisional round.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported Monday at 7:56 a.m. ET the Texans' plane was "still in the air" due to delays on their trip back home.

Based on flight-tracking data, the plane finally touched down in Houston at 7:15 a.m. CT, 14 hours after Saturday's game concluded.
According to posts on social media, the team was originally scheduled to depart from Providence, Rhode Island. That flight was first delayed and then diverted while in the air to Newark Liberty International Airport. The Texans didn't take off from there until 4:37 a.m. ET.
This serves as a fitting coda to such a disappointing defeat. Houston committed five turnovers, including four interceptions by quarterback C.J. Stroud, to cancel out a strong defensive showing.
Stroud's performance in particular raises some difficult questions for the franchise moving forward.
