Luka Doncic Injured, Latest Updates on Lakers Star and Timeline to Return
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić is considered day-to-day with a hamstring strain, but he will miss his second straight game on Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Head coach JJ Redick told reporters on Saturday that Doncic is dealing with a "mild" strain.

The news comes after ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported Friday there was "some initial optimism" that the injury wouldn't sideline Doncic for long:
Dončić left Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers in the second quarter and entered Los Angeles' locker room with a limp.
He scored 10 points on 3-of-10 shooting in 16 minutes on the floor prior to his exit.
Dončić was previously ruled out of Los Angeles' clash with the Portland Trail Blazers on Jan. 17 due to left groin soreness after missing time earlier this season with a calf contusion and left finger sprain.
The five-time All-Star has remained productive offensively despite the recent health woes, though.
Dončić averaged 33.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game heading into Thursday's action. He shot 47.5 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from three-point territory.
Injuries haven't been a major issue for Dončić overall, as he suited up in at least 65 games during five of his first six years in the NBA.
He was limited to a career-low 50 appearances during his 2024-25 campaign, though. The 26-year-old was sidelined with a calf strain as a member of the Dallas Mavericks before he was traded to the Lakers in a blockbuster swap that also involved Anthony Davis and Max Christie.
Los Angeles has dealt with injuries to multiple key contributors this year, as LeBron James didn't make his season debut until Nov. 18 while he dealt with sciatica on his right side. Austin Reaves also missed 19 games with a calf strain.
