Check Out Lakers' LeBron James' Special-Edition Jersey Patch to Celebrate Historic 23rd NBA Season

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is partnering with Topps to create some special relic cards.

The company announced Monday that James will wear a special commemorative patch on his uniform. Some of the patches, which celebrate his 23rd season in the NBA, will be utilized for specified inserts:

The patch features a silhouette of James doing his usual pregame chalk toss and references his career stops with the Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.

Special jersey patches are becoming an increasingly common part of Topps trading cards. The company, which is owned by Fanatics, highlights each rookie with a debut patch, while award winners in the NBA and MLB are wearing a gold logoman to honor their achievement.
