NBA Rumors: Latest Buzz on Carlos Boozer, Kevin Seraphin and More
Carlos Boozer is perhaps the biggest name still remaining on the NBA free-agent market. The 33-year-old veteran can still help a contending team with his scoring and rebounding. Per Michael Scotto of Sheridan Hoops, there are at least three teams interested in his services:
In Boozer's 13-year career, he has averaged 16.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Last season in a somewhat limited role for the Los Angeles Lakers, Boozer put up a more-than-respectable line of 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in 23.8 minutes per game.
If he's looking to play for the team with the best chance to challenge for a championship, the Houston Rockets would seemingly be the right choice. They have put together a strong team to support James Harden and Dwight Howard. Boozer could add even more depth and experience to the team's frontcourt.
Kevin Seraphin

A lesser-known, but talented big still on the market is Kevin Seraphin. He last played for the Washington Wizards, and per Scotto, the Wiz are one of three teams reportedly interesting in signing him for the upcoming season:
It seems the New York Knicks and Lakers will come up in just about any rumor concerning an unsigned big man. Seraphin is a big body at 6'10", 278 pounds, and he is still just 25 years old. Last season he averaged 6.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.7 blocked shots per game.
He projects as a solid backup center capable of giving a team quality minutes and energy off the bench.
Robbie Hummel

Instead of returning to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the upcoming season, it appears Robbie Hummel is headed overseas to continue his professional basketball career. E.Carchia of Sportando wrote: "Olimpia Milano reached an agreement with a power forward to complete the roster for the upcoming season. According to sources the name is Robbie Hummel."
Minnesota gave Hummel the qualifying offer initially, but the team rescinded it, per Carchia, making the 26-year-old an unrestricted free agent. He averaged 4.4 points and three rebounds per game for Minnesota last season.
