Dickert arrived at Wake Forest this season after three years as Washington State's head coach. He turned around a team that went 4-8 in its previous two seasons and led Wake Forest to a 9-4 mark.
Quarterback Robby Ashford won MVP honors after accounting for five touchdowns (three passing, two rushing) and 353 yards (303 passing, 50 rushing).
Dickert has authored an incredible turnaround at Wake Forest, and analysts were impressed with the season at the whole.
Wake Forest finished 4-4 in the ACC overall, with its biggest win being at then-No. 14 Virginia 16-9 on Nov. 8.
Dickert will look to lead the Demon Deacons to even greater heights in 2026, beginning on Sept. 3 when they host Akron.
