Pop-Tarts Bowl Debuts Themed End Zones for BYU, GT in Photos Ahead of Matchup
With the exception of the College Football Playoff, the most-anticipated bowl game of the season is nearly here with Georgia Tech and BYU set to square off in the Pop-Tarts Bowl on Saturday.
On the eve of the matchup, the special Pop-Tarts themed end zones for both teams that will be featured at Camping World Stadium were revealed.
Since being rebranded as the Pop-Tarts Bowl in 2023, the game has become a sensation for reasons that have nothing to do with the teams involved.
The first year, for instance, saw the Strawberry Pop-Tarts mascot willingly sacrifice itself to provide Kansas State with a special treat following its victory over North Carolina State.
Fear not, though, because Strawberry returned with a full-blown resurrection ceremony during the 2024 contest between Iowa State and Miami.
This year, the Pop-Tarts Bowl has already announced custom helmets for both teams that include sprinkles inside the stripes.
The trophy presented to the winning team includes a football-shaped toaster at the top, allowing players to heat up their victory Pop-Tart as long as it is working correctly.
Fans will get their annual Pop-Tarts fix with Georgia Tech and BYU kicking off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
