Warriors' Steph Curry Honors Klay Thompson, Wears Mavs Star's Signature Shoes in Video
Stephen Curry honored Klay Thompson with his footwear as the two former teammates faced off during the Golden State Warriors' clash with the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
Curry wore Thompson's signature Anta KT 11 "Christmas" shoes during the matchup.
Curry and Thompson played together in Golden State from 2011-24, winning four championships as a duo and establishing themselves as one of the greatest backcourts in NBA history.
After Curry became a sneaker free agent by parting ways with Under Armour on Nov. 13, he's used a variety of shoes linked to his nightly opponents.
The two-time MVP wore Anthony Edwards' signature shoes during a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 12 before wearing Devin Booker's Nike Book 1 kicks in a clash with the Phoenix Suns on Dec. 18.
Curry also wore the signature shoe lines of Orlando Magic legends Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway prior to a matchup with the Magic earlier this season.
On Thursday, he paid homage to his former running mate.
