Devin Booker Reacts to Stephen Curry Wearing His Nike Shoes Amid Sneaker Free Agency
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry's sneaker free agency has afforded him the opportunity to pay tribute to current and former NBA stars with his choice of footwear before and during games.
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker reacted to Curry wearing his signature Nike Book 1 shoes during Thursday's game between the two teams.
Booker explained he sent Curry a few pairs of his Nike signature shoes at Curry's request after the Warriors legend left Under Armour on Nov. 13, making him a sneaker free agent for the first time since 2013.
This has become common for Curry as he enjoys his experience on the free-agent market. He wore the Kobe 6 Mambacita shoes during pre-game warmups against the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 14.
It was a good night overall for Booker. Not only did he get to see Curry wearing his shoes, but he also led the Suns to a 99-98 win over the Warriors.
Curry finished with just 15 points on 3-of-13 shooting in 33 minutes, but he did record seven assists and a season-high nine rebounds.
