
UK Back Pages: Arsenal's Arsene Wenger Fires Back at Jose Mourinho
Well, Sunday's Community Shield certainly should be interesting.
While the match that pits Premier League champion against FA Cup champion at Wembley is fairly meaningless in the grand scheme of things, it's still Chelsea vs. Arsenal.
And in this case, after several days of jabs delivered through the media between old pals Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger, there's a bit of added intrigue.
After Mourinho was critical of Arsenal's spending habits, Wenger struck back on Tuesday.
Mirror Sport called it the "Blast of the Big Spender" while also linking Everton's James McCarthy to a move to Tottenham.
