Lane Kiffin Posts 'Step Brothers' Meme in Response to Troll over LSU-Ole Miss Rivalry
Lane Kiffin is known for his social media presence, and it appears he's keeping his meme tradition alive now that he's at LSU.
The new Tigers head coach posted a meme from "Step Brothers" while calling for the governors of Louisiana and Mississippi to "cheer for each other all year long except when we play each other."
While Kiffin is hoping for peace between LSU and Ole Miss, his efforts will almost certainly be fruitless. The rivalry between the Tigers and Rebels was already heated, and Kiffin leaving Oxford for Baton Rouge only fanned the flame.
Kiffin spent six seasons at Ole Miss and is one of the best coaches in Rebels' history. While he is largely responsible for Ole Miss' College Football Playoff appearance, he won't be a part of the CFP run.
Ole Miss will face Tulane at home on Saturday in the first round. A coaching change right before the CFP makes things much more difficult, but the Rebels will look to start the Pete Golding era off strong.
