BYU, Georgia Tech Reveal Pop-Tarts-Inspired Helmets for Bowl Game in Photos

BYU and Georgia Tech are getting in the spirit of the season.

The Pop-Tart season, that is.

With the Cougars and Yellow Jackets set to face off in the Pop-Tarts Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 27, the two teams revealed their perfectly themed helmets for the contest Friday:

This will be the third edition of the Pop-Tarts Bowl, which has already become a fan favorite in large part because of the spectacle around the game beyond the football.

With Pop-Tarts mascots walking around the field, Pop-Tarts theming around the field and a Pop-Tarts feast awaiting the winning team, it is arguably the most amusing bowl game on the entire schedule.

This year's game will feature six different mascots divided into Team Sprinkles and Team Swirls:

What's more, this year's game will feature voting for what is being called "The Biggest Sacrifice Ever." Fans can vote during the game to determine which of the mascots will be eaten by the winning team after the contest ends. 

It is only fitting, then, that BYU and Georgia Tech will be wearing appropriately themed helmets for the highly anticipated contest.
