Timothee Chalamet Talks 2026 World Cup, Reveals Allegiances for Historic Tournament

Taking a break from talking about Marty Supreme, Timothée Chalamet revealed his allegiance will be divided for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Appearing on BBC Sport, Chalamet said he will be supporting both the United States and France in the tournament next summer.

Chalamet has both American and French ancestry. His father was born in France and he spent time living in the country growing up.

There is a chance that the U.S. and France could play in the World Cup in the knockout round. If France wins its group and Team USA finishes third in its group, the two could square off as soon as the Round of 32.
