Cornerback
2 of 6
The Lions have been looking for cornerback help over the last couple of offseasons, and the search continues this spring. Terrion Arnold has been a disappointment so far, and Amik Robertson is an impending free agent, heightening the need for secondary help in Detroit.
Jermod McCoy, Tennessee (No. 7)
Avieon Terrell, Clemson (No. 20)
Chandler Rivers, Duke (No. 34)
2nd Edge Defender
3 of 6
The Lions have, unsuccessfully, been trying to find someone to play on the edge opposite Aidan Hutchinson for a few offseasons. Marcus Davenport has struggled to stay healthy since signing with the club a couple of years ago and is an impending free agent, making the position one of the team's top draft needs.
Keldric Faulk, Auburn (No. 18)
T.J. Parker, Clemson (No. 24)
Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon (No. 33)
Center
4 of 6
Frank Ragnow's surprising retirement this summer, combined with his failed comeback attempt in November, leaves the Lions with a big hole to fill in the middle of the offensive line. Graham Glasgow has been a solid replacement, but it's no secret that the team could use an upgrade over the 33-year-old.
Jake Slaughter, Florida (No. 119)
Connor Lew, Auburn (No. 120)
Logan Jones, Iowa (No. 135)
Defensive Tackle
5 of 6
Defensive tackle isn't a major need for the Lions after using a first-round pick on Tyleik Williams a year ago. However, Williams hasn't lived up to the billing yet, Alim McNeill has battled several injuries and D.J. Reader is an impending free agent. So, the club should at least explore this year's crop of interior defensive linemen.
A'Mauri Washington, Oregon (No. 37)
Christen Miller, Georgia (No. 41)
Kayden McDonald, Ohio State (No. 61)
Linebacker
6 of 6
Linebacker won't be a pressing need in Detroit since Jack Campbell and Derrick Barnes are under contract for next season. However, Alex Anzalone is an impending free agent, while Campbell is signed through 2026 (barring a fifth-year option) and Barnes' deal expires after the 2027 campaign.
Jake Golday, Cincinnati (No. 53)
Anthony Hill Jr., Texas (No. 68)
Whit Weeks, LSU (No. 95)
