How To Get Free Ticket to Bush's Boca Raton Bowl of Beans Toledo vs. Louisville Game

Organizers for the Boca Raton Bowl came up with a novel way to get fans into the stands for this year's encounter between Toledo and Louisville.

Bush's Beans, which is the bowl's official sponsor, announced Monday it is giving away free tickets to fans in exchange for a can of beans on the day of the game (Dec. 23). The cans will be donated to local families.

The window to receive tickets runs from 10 a.m. ET to 1:59 p.m., right up until the kickoff.

With the College Football Playoff becoming a larger focus of the postseason, bowl organizers are increasingly thinking outside the box in order to garner attention. We're getting celebratory mayonnaise baths and trophies that double as a toaster.

For its part, the Boca Raton Bowl is going all in on beans.

Fans will receive Bush's Beans bucket hats. Those who participate in the can exchange will be seated in the "MVBean" section in one of the end zones. Bush's also teased "a delicious surprise" that's tied in with the pot of beans that will simmer throughout the game.

"Something magical happens on game day, and beans are the ultimate crowd-pleaser that fuels fans in a way few foods can," said Stephen Palacios, senior vice president of marketing for Bush's Beans. "Whether you're watching from the stadium stands or a living room, we can't wait to bring the best parts of our bean-loving community to make history with the biggest bowl of beans you've ever seen. Fun surprises, unique experiences and all things beans are on the menu."

Both Toledo and Louisville sit at 8-4. For the Cardinals, a win in the Boca Raton Bowl would be another nice boost after head coach Jeff Brohm spurned interest from Penn State and reaffirmed his commitment to the school.
