Heisman Finalists 2025 Odds, Predictions for Candidates' Order of Finish in the Race
The 2025 Heisman Trophy will be handed out on Saturday night.
Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza is the presumed winner after he led his team to an undefeated season and the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff.
Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia, Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin and Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love are the other finalists that earned a trip to New York.

Heisman Trophy Odds
Fernando Mendoza (-1000; bet $1000 to win $100)
Diego Pavia (+600; bet $100 to win $600)
Jeremiyah Love (+25000)
Julian Sayin (+40000)
Fernando Mendoza surged ahead of the other Heisman contenders on the odds board after he led Indiana to the Big Ten Championship.
The Hoosiers finished with the only undefeated regular-season record in the FBS. They landed the No. 1 overall seed in the CFB Playoff to go along with their Big Ten title.
If he wins, Mendoza will become the first Heisman winner in Indiana program history.
Mendoza, Diego Pavia and Julian Sayin are all vying to become the fourth quarterback in five years to win the Heisman.
Jeremiyah Love is looking to become the first running back to capture the Heisman since Derrick Henry in 2015.
Only three running backs, Henry, Mark Ingram and Reggie Bush, have won the Heisman since 2000. Only two other non-quarterbacks, DeVonta Smith and Travis Hunter, won the Heisman during that span.
Mendoza's performance in a handful of big games against the Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions and Ohio State should be enough to give him the award over the other contenders.
Pavia has the best case outside of Mendoza because of the four Top 25 wins he led Vanderbilt to in SEC play.
Love had a handful of dominant performances late in the season, but he was playing from behind in the Heisman race for most of the season.
Sayin lost out to Mendoza last weekend, a result that likely cost him any first-place Heisman votes.
Prediction
- Fernando Mendoza
- Diego Pavia
- Jeremiyah Love
- Julian Sayin
