Jameis Winston Trolls FSU Football with Women's Soccer Team Shoutout

New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston took a swipe at his alma mater Florida State.

After the Seminoles women's soccer team won the 2025 national championship on Monday, Winston took to social media to praise the squad "consistently being our best football team over the years."

Florida State's football team finished the 2025 season with a 5-7 record, which followed a 2-10 campaign in 2024. The Seminoles declined a bowl game invitation on Sunday, ending their season.

Winston led Florida State to a national championship and a 14-0 undefeated record in the 2013 season, so he has every right to be critical of his college team. He will be among the many fans and alums hoping to see the Seminoles recapture their old glory in 2026.
