Heisman Watch 2025 Latest Odds and Predictions in Race For Top Award
The quarterback of the top-ranked team in college football is poised to pick up the Heisman Trophy on Saturday.
Fernando Mendoza's performance in the Indiana Hoosiers' Big Ten Championship Game victory swayed the odds in his favor.
Mendoza is an overwhelming favorite to claim the sport's top individual honor over a handful of other quarterbacks.
The rest of the Heisman finalists have yet to be announced, but there's a strong assumption that at least Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia and Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love will be invited to New York.
Fernando Mendoza (-2500)

Fernando Mendoza is the runaway favorite to win the Heisman at DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Indiana quarterback has been near the top of the Heisman odds board since he led the Hoosiers to their road win over the Oregon Ducks in October.
Mendoza pulled away from the rest of the field with his showing in Indianapolis on Saturday night.
He made a handful of clutch throws and helped Indiana defeat the team with the toughest defense in the FBS.
Indiana earned the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff thanks to Mendoza's efforts, and it also finished the regular season as the lone unbeaten team in the FBS.
It would be a massive surprise if Mendoza didn't walk away with the trophy on Saturday night.
Diego Pavia ( 900)
2 of 3
Diego Pavia's Heisman quest will come up short due to Mendoza's overall success in 2025.
The Vanderbilt quarterback is still deserving of a trip to New York as a finalist.
He led the Commodores to four wins over ranked opponents in SEC play and he produced over 4,000 total yards.
Pavia will go down as one of the top college quarterbacks of the last five years due to his exploits at Vanderbilt and New Mexico State.
A trip to New York, and maybe some first-place Heisman votes, would be a nice finish to an impressive collegiate career.
Jeremiyah Love ( 20000)
3 of 3
Jeremiyah Love should be the top non-quarterback vote getter on the Heisman ballot.
The Notre Dame running back totaled the fourth-most rushing yards and third-most rushing touchdowns in the FBS.
Love had a tremendous finish to the regular season with four 100-yard performances in the last six games. He scored 10 of his 18 touchdowns in that span.
He should be one of the finalists announced early this week, but expect Love to finish no higher than third given what Mendoza and Pavia have done this season.
