Early National Signing Day 2025 List of 5-Star Recruits Committed to Each School

Joe TanseyDec 5, 2025

The latest crop of five-star recruits confirmed their futures during the December signing period.

Thirty-two players were given a five-star rating by 247Sports in the class of 2026. The class was led by three quarterbacks.

Most of the normal players on the recruiting stage landed five-star players, but two of the top three recruits went to the Houston Cougars and Vanderbilt Commodores.

The top recruit in the class of 2026 didn't land in the SEC or Big Ten.

In fact, quarterback Keisean Henderson signed with Houston in the Big 12. Henderson is the anchor of a 40th-ranked overall class.

The biggest change during the December signing period came from quarterback Jared Curtis, who swapped the Georgia Bulldogs for Vanderbilt.

The volume of five-stars to certain schools was concentrated at the top of the team rankings.

Dan Lanning's Oregon Ducks, Marcus Freeman's Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Kalen DeBoer's Alabama Crimson Tide each landed four five-star recruits.

Five other schools, the Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Longhorns, LSU Tigers, Texas Tech Red Raiders and Michigan Wolverines landed multiple five-star recruits.

In total, the five-star recruits were spread across 18 schools, a suggestion that the new NIL rules are leveling the playing field a bit instead of all the top talent being concentrated at the top.
