Ohio State wideout Jeremiah Smith finished as the team's third-leading receiver in the victory, resulting in his Heisman odds dropping to +10000.
Sayin looked sharp in the pocket throughout "The Game," helping the Buckeyes end a four-game losing streak to the Wolverines.
He finished 19-of-26 for 233 yards and three touchdowns compared to one interception, averaging 9.0 yards per attempt.
Sayin's efficiency has been a key factor in Ohio State's flawless 12-0 record this year, as he already entered Saturday's action by leading the country with a 79.4 completion percentage.
He's now tossed 30 touchdowns while getting picked off a mere five times across 12 starts.
Smith has remained a crucial piece of the Buckeyes' passing attack following a standout freshman season in 2024, but he only hauled in three receptions for 40 yards against Michigan.
It's worth noting that he recorded a 35-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter, though.
Smith has now racked up 942 receiving yards this season, but he's been limited to just 80 yards on seven catches over his past two games.
The sophomore could still be named a Heisman finalist, although his recent performances may prevent him from making the trip to New York City for the award ceremony.
For now, Sayin and Smith will attempt to help the Buckeyes capture a second consecutive national title.
