Heisman Watch 2025 and Latest Race Predictions Entering Week 14
Rivalry weekend serves as the last chance for some Heisman Trophy contenders to impress voters.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love and Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia fall into that category.
But for Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza and Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin, Week 14 should provide the stage for their penultimate performances before voting closes.
Mendoza has a far easier matchup on hand, but if Sayin wins his rivalry contest, the two signal-callers will square off in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Fernando Mendoza

Fernando Mendoza has the easiest rivalry weekend matchup of the Heisman contenders.
Mendoza and the Indiana Hoosiers face off with the Purdue Boilermakers, who allowed 83 points in the last two weeks.
Mendoza should put up a strong passing stat line against one of the worst teams in the Big Ten.
The Indiana quarterback might only be on the field for three quarters if the Hoosiers blow out the Boilermakers, like they have against several other opponents this season.
Mendoza's remaining showcase game is the Big Ten Championship Game, where he will likely face Julian Sayin and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Jeremiyah Love
2 of 4
Jeremiyah Love put himself firmly in the Heisman discussion with a 171-yard, three-touchdown outing against the Syracuse Orange in Week 13.
Love has four 100-yard games and three multi-score performances across the last five games.
He should add to that resume in the Notre Dame Fighting Irish's regular-season finale against the Stanford Cardinal.
Notre Dame will be in standalone window, albeit late night on the east coast, but Love will have a stage to shine and make his final case for the Heisman.
Love might not have enough votes to beat out any of the quarterbacks, but he certainly will be a Heisman finalist.
Julian Sayin
3 of 4
Julian Sayin potentially has two high-profile stages left to impress Heisman voters.
Sayin will attempt to lead Ohio State to its first win over the Michigan Wolverines in five years on Saturday.
If Sayin does that, he'll be headed to the Big Ten Championship Game to face Mendoza and Indiana in a duel with the Heisman potentially on the line.
Sayin has comparable numbers to Mendoza, and if he outduels his Indiana counterpart, it could catapult him to the top of the Heisman list.
But first Sayin needs to take down Michigan, a team that still has an outside shot at the College Football Playoff.
Diego Pavia
4 of 4
Diego Pavia has comparable numbers to Mendoza and Sayin, but his team isn't at the top of the rankings.
Pavia and the Vanderbilt Commodores are currently on the outside looking in at the College Football Playoff at-large spots.
Vandy needs to beat the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday and then receive some help to reach the playoff.
As for Pavia's Heisman case, a strong winning performance against the Vols on the heels of three straight 300-yard, multi-touchdown games might be enough to make him a finalist.
