Comedian Simon Brodkin Threw Real Money at Sepp Blatter, Got All of It Back

Simon Brodkin's decision to throw money at Sepp Blatter during a FIFA press conference may have cost the comedian better known as Lee Nelson, but it didn't cost him. 

The Englishman was arrested for trespassing by Swiss authorities after the stunt, but he didn't lose any actual money (yet).

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph after the incident, Brodkin revealed that not only was the $600 he threw in Blatter's direction real, the Swiss authorities gave him back all the offending cash:

"

For me, that's part of it. If you're going to do it, you do it properly. The [FIFA] guys couldn't believe it. In the end, it cost me nothing because they gave it all back. I can assure you there might be corruption in [FIFA], but the Swiss police are corruption-free. They gave me back every penny: 'Here you go, sir.' 

"

It's not a bad consolation after spending a few hours in jail. Most assumed the "rained" cash was fake. 

Because of the legal nature of his arrest, he didn't go into detail about how he managed his way into Blatter's nature, but he did reveal one all-important aspect of his sneak-attack: "A lot of it is just feeling like you are meant to be there and looking the part.
