Deion Sanders Criticized by CFB Fans as Colorado Loses to ASU, Falls to 3-8 on Season
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffalos fell 42-17 to the No. 25 Arizona State Sun Devils at home on Saturday, falling to 3-8 on the season.
With the loss, the Buffs dropped four in a row in a late-season skid and 1-7 in the Big 12 with one more game remaining on the schedule.
In the loss, Julian Lewis threw for 161 yards and one touchdown while completing 19-of-38 passes.
Dropping their eighth game of the season, Sanders and the Buffs received criticism after a tough season.
Buffalo can match its 2023 record at 4-8 with a win over unranked Kansas State next Saturday. If the Buffs drop their game against Kansas State, they risk their worst season since 2022, pre-Sanders era.
Colorado trailed 13-7 at halftime before ASU turned it on to grab the XX-XX victory and keep the Buffs at bay.
Kickoff for Colorado and Kansas State is scheduled for Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas.
