Where Will Oregon Land in CFB Playoff Bracket? Latest Predictions After Win vs. USC

Zach BacharNov 22, 2025

No. 7 Oregon wrapped up an impressive 42-27 win over No. 15 USC at Autzen Stadium on Saturday.

The Ducks boosted their College Football Playoff chances with the result, as a victory over Washington on Nov. 29 would assure their CFP spot.

While the Trojans took an early 7-0 lead and pulled to within eight points during the fourth quarter, Oregon's offense was ultimately too much for them to overcome.

The Ducks amassed 436 total yards, picking up 26 first downs.

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore finished 22-of-30 for 257 yards and two touchdowns while getting picked off once. Moore's top target was Kenyon Sadiq, who hauled in six receptions for 72 yards and two scores.

Noah Whittington led the Ducks' rushing attack by picking up 104 yards on 19 carries, finding the end zone once. Whittington has now amassed 516 rush yards over his past five games.

While all of the teams listed above Oregon in the latest CFP rankings either won by double digits or didn't play on Saturday, head coach Dan Lanning's squad emerging victorious over a ranked USC team will undoubtedly help the Ducks' CFP positioning.

Oregon improved to 10-1 with the win, remaining in contention for a spot in the Big Ten title game.
