When Will Tyrese Haliburton Return from Injury? Pacers Star Updates Rehab Progress

Paul KasabianNov 21, 2025

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton gave an update on his rehab from a torn right Achilles tendon during his team's NBA Cup game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday evening.

"I feel really good, maybe a little bit ahead, but I feel good every day," Haliburton told Cassidy Hubbarth during the Prime Video broadcast.

"Every day is a different battle, but I have good days and bad days, but I feel good overall. And just staying engaged. It's been nice to have some sense of normalcy and be with the guys all the time and be around, and just understand what it is and get back to who I am."

Haliburton suffered the non-contact injury in the first quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He authored a tremendous postseason in which he made four go-ahead or game-tying shots in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime. Thanks largely to his efforts, the Pacers made the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000.

Haliburton is out for the entire 2025-26 season. Indiana is notably struggling without him, sitting at 2-14 after a 120-109 road loss to the Cavs on Friday.

Thankfully, it appears Haliburton is well on track for next season, which will be a huge boost for the Pacers as they look to recapture past success.
