Latest Heisman Watch Odds and 2025 Race Predictions Entering Week 13

Joe TanseyNov 20, 2025

Heisman Trophy favorite Fernando Mendoza has one regular-season game left to impress voters

Mendoza and the Indiana Hoosiers are off in Week 13. Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin is the only Heisman contender who can truly gain ground on Mendoza on Saturday.

Ohio State has a Big Ten matchup with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, while most SEC schools play FCS or Group of Five teams.

Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed likely won't play more than three quarters on Saturday.

If anything, Week 13 could open up the possibility for another player to insert himself into the Heisman finalist mix.

Ty Simpson's odds significantly dropped after the Alabama Crimson Tide lost in Week 12. A fourth potential finalist could emerge from the pack on Saturday.

Fernando Mendoza (-105)

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 15 Wisconsin at Indiana

Fernando Mendoza took over the Heisman favorite role at DraftKings Sportsbook after Week 12's results.

Mendoza didn't do anything particularly special against the Wisconsin Badgers, but he did keep up his level of consistency.

Mendoza's thrown for over 200 yards in nine of his 11 games. He has five games with four or five touchdown passes.

The Cal transfer has the resume of a Heisman winner. He'll have one more chance to have a signature performance before votes are cast.

Indiana should play Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game, a matchup that could decide the Heisman and the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff.

Julian Sayin ( 170)

2 of 4
UCLA v Ohio State

Julian Sayin has a strong case that he should be the Heisman favorite.

The Ohio State quarterback completed 80.1 percent of his passes, has 25 touchdown passes and has thrown for more yards than Mendoza.

Sayin can make up the gap in touchdown passes, a deficit of five, on Saturday against a poor Rutgers defense.

Sayin has two notable games left on his schedule. Ohio State-Michigan is one of the highest-profile rivalry games and then he'll play Indiana in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Since the Heisman odds are so close, there's a chance Sayin overtakes Mendoza before the first Saturday in December because of a potential win over a Top 25 team in a game with a much large national spotlight than Indiana-Purdue.

Marcel Reed ( 550)

3 of 4
South Carolina v Texas A&M

Marcel Reed can't do anything to improve his Heisman stock on Saturday.

Texas A&M hosts the Samford Bulldogs from the FCS in a game that might be over before the end of the second quarter.

Like Sayin, Reed has two showcase games left, if everything goes right for himself and A&M.

A&M visits the Texas Longhorns in Week 14. A win in that game solidifies a spot in the SEC Championship Game against a top-10 opponent.

Two dynamic performances could give Reed a shot at taking down Mendoza and Sayin for the Heisman.

The ideal scenario for Reed is that he balls out against Texas and in the SEC title game and that the Big Ten title game is a slog in which neither quarterback is able to shine.

Jeremiyah Love ( 2500)

4 of 4
Notre Dame v Pittsburgh

Jeremiyah Love likely doesn't have a chance to catch the three favored quarterbacks to win the Heisman.

However, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back is absolutely in the mix to be named as a Heisman finalist.

Love has 1,135 rushing yards, 14 touchdowns and is averaging 6.4 yards per carry. He ranks in the top five in the FBS in yards and TDs. He's top 30 in YPC.

Love should have two more 100-yard performances against the Syracuse Orange and Stanford Cardinal in the next two weeks.

He should have close to 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns by the end of the regular season. Those numbers would likely be good enough to put him in as a Heisman finalist over any other quarterback.

It would take a Herculean effort on Love's end plus some upsets in the Big Ten and SEC for him to win the honor, but he at least deserves to be at the ceremony.
