According to Spectrum News 13 in Orlando, Pritchard was moved from the hospital to the rehabilitation center on Oct. 9 and completed 34 days of "intensive rehabilitation." Brooks Rehabilitation said he will be moving on to the "next stage in his recovery," but didn't reveal details as to what that would entail.
Pritchard spoke to Stewart Moore of NBC's Orlando affiliate and discussed his progress.
"It started off with me waking him up at 1:30 in the morning, just moving my arm. When I first got here, I couldn't even move my whole right side," Pritchard said. "It started off with that, and then after that, it just got better and better."
Pritchard was shot outside an apartment complex while dropping off his aunt and baby cousin. Investigators said the incident was "a case of mistaken identity," per Spectrum News 13. Four people were arrested in connection with the shooting.
