Jalen Brunson, Knicks Impress Fans in Win vs. Wolves in Anthony Edwards' Injury Return

Jalen Brunson dropped 23 points in the New York Knicks' 137–114 win over Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Wednesday.

In Edwards' return from a strained right hamstring suffered on Oct. 26, he finished with 15 points, five assists and two steals as Minnesota fell to 4-4 on the season.

Meanwhile, Brunson added seven rebounds and 10 assists, shooting 45 percent from the field to help lead the Knicks to a 5-3 start. Karl-Anthony Towns added 15 points and 10 rebounds to help power the Knicks to the victory. 

In a balanced scoring effort from Philadelphia, OG Anunoby added 25 points and eight rebounds, while Mikal Bridges contributed 13 points. Off the bench, Josh Hart scored 18 points, and Miles McBride finished with 14 points.

Brunson and the Knicks impressed fans with their statement win over the Timberwolves.

Minnesota took a narrow 58–54 lead into halftime, led by 18 points from Julius Randle. Towns had 10 points at the break, while Brunson added seven for Philadelphia.

A 40-point third quarter gave the Knicks an eight-point lead heading into the final frame, and a strong fourth quarter, highlighted by a 28–17 run over the final seven minutes, sealed the blowout and kept the Timberwolves out of reach.

The Knicks will get a lengthy break before hosting the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, while the Timberwolves will host the Utah Jazz on Friday.
