Anthony Edwards Reportedly Will Return from Hamstring Injury for T-Wolves vs. Knicks
Anthony Edwards will reportedly take the court for the first time since Oct. 26 when the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the New York Knicks in Wednesday's matchup.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported Edwards was cleared to return from his hamstring injury.
This comes just two days after the Timberwolves announced the star guard was "cleared for contact basketball activities" even though his "game availability will remain as out as he continues to progress through his return-to-play rehabilitation program."

It didn't take him long to go from that initial clearance to being ruled healthy enough to play in games, which is a welcome development for Minnesota.
The Western Conference team went 2-2 in his absence while largely relying on Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo and Jaden McDaniels to lead the way in the scoring department. Having Edwards back should be a multiplier effect for those other options as well given how much defensive attention he draws on a nightly basis.
Edwards is coming off three straight All-Star seasons and two straight All-NBA Second Team selections as one of the best young players in the league.
He picked up right where he left off in the first three games of this season while averaging 25.7 points and 4.0 rebounds a night. He also connected on 51.9 percent of his shots from the field and 47.4 percent of his three-point attempts.
The Timberwolves' go-to option will be immediately put to the test against a Knicks team coming off two straight wins with realistic NBA Finals aspirations this season.
