Kike Hernandez Calls Dodgers A 'Motherf'ing Dynasty' After 3 World Series in 6 Years

Zach BacharNov 3, 2025

Los Angeles Dodgers utility man Kiké Hernández confidently discussed the team's sustained success after taking down the Toronto Blue Jays to win the 2025 World Series in seven games.

"My teammates have been pretty humble, but I think it's time to talk that s--t," Hernández said at the Dodgers' championship rally (around the 4:45 minute mark in the video). "Everybody has been asking questions about a dynasty. How about three in six years? How about back-to-back? Yes, we're a motherf'ing dynasty baby."

"And I wanna take this time to apologize to absolutely f--king nobody," he added. "The triple champ does what they f--king want."

Los Angeles has now won the Fall Classic in three of the past six seasons, previously doing so in 2024 and 2020.

While Dodgers manager Dave Roberts avoided describing the team as a dynasty after defeating the Blue Jays, he was still proud of the overall success in recent years.

"We've put together something pretty special, I do know that," Roberts said, per CBS Sports' Julian McWilliams. "I'm proud of the players for the fans, scouting, player development, all the stuff. To do what we've done in this span of time is pretty remarkable. I guess let the pundits and all the fans talk about if it's a dynasty or not, but I'm pretty happy with where we're at."

While Los Angeles' 2020 championship victory came in a shortened season, they've averaged 101.6 wins per year since 2021. The Dodgers have also won the National League West crown in four consecutive seasons.

As for Hernández, he was present for all three championship runs with Los Angeles.

He remained impactful during the 2025 postseason, hitting .250 with one home run and seven RBI in 17 games.

The biggest playoff moment for Hernández came in Game 6 against the Blue Jays, as the Dodgers faced elimination heading into the contest. With Los Angeles holding a 3-1 lead in the ninth inning, Toronto was able to put runners on second and third base with one out.

Blue Jays second baseman Andrés Giménez then hit a shallow fly ball that was caught by Hernández, who subsequently threw it to second base for a game-ending double play.

His late-game heroics helped Los Angeles eventually clinch its ninth championship in franchise history.
