The 2025 Heisman Trophy race gained some more clarity as Saturday's slate came to a close.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin has the highest odds to earn Heisman Trophy honors at +185. Indiana passer Fernando Mendoza owns the second-highest odds at +240, while Alabama signal-caller Ty Simpson sits at No. 3 with +450 odds.
Meanwhile, Miami signal-caller Carson Beck's odds dropped to 200-1.

It's easy to see why Sayin is favored to win the award, as he wrapped up a stellar performance in the Buckeyes' 38-14 victory over Penn State.
He ended the game with more touchdowns than incompletions, finishing 20-of-23 for 316 yards and four scores without committing a turnover.
Sayin's efficiency in the pocket has played a major role in Ohio State's perfect 8-0 record this year, as he entered Saturday's action by completing 80.0 percent of his throws for 1,872 yards and 19 touchdowns compared to just three interceptions in seven games.
As for Beck, his Heisman candidacy was hurt following the Hurricanes' surprising 26-20 loss to SMU.
He finished 26-of-38 for 274 yards and two touchdowns, but was picked off twice. This included an interception on the first overtime possession, helping the Mustangs emerge victorious.
After Miami opened its 2025 campaign with a 5-0 record, head coach Mario Cristobal's squad has lost two of its past three contests. Beck was a factor in both defeats, as he tossed six interceptions in the three-game span.
