Kevin Durant Trolls Fan Who Says Warriors 'Dodged a F--king Bullet' at Trade Deadline
Last season, there appeared to be a real possibility that Kevin Durant would be traded to the Golden State Warriors, but he ultimately finished out the season with the Phoenix Suns.
After a fan claimed the Warriors "dodged a f--king bullet" by not trading for Durant, the Houston Rockets star clapped back on social media.
The Warriors ultimately ended up getting the star after they traded for Jimmy Butler, but it's fair to assume Durant might have been the better option considering his past success in Golden State.
Durant also hasn't lost a step, despite being 37 years old. The 15-time All-Star is putting up 27.5 points per game with his new squad.
Though Durant won a pair of titles with the Warriors, he wasn't interested in a reunion last offseason. The Netflix docuseries Starting 5 caught Durant's reaction to Phoenix attempting to trade him.
"No f--king way they tryna do this s--t behind my back," Durant said.
Now Durant is looking to close out his career strong and perhaps add to his already outstanding legacy. And if fans have anything to say to him on social media, he's made it known that he's not afraid to reply.
