Lakers' LeBron James Gifts Ohio State CFB Team Special Cleats for PSU Game in Video

LeBron James is making sure his favorite college football team is ready for its rivalry game on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Lakers star and Ohio State fan gifted the Buckeyes special cleats to wear during their matchup with Penn State.

"Ohio State means a lot to me," James said. "If you followed my journey, I'm a big-time football fan. I played football all the way through high school. It's always been fulfilling to me and an honor for me to give back."

James is clearly excited about the new cleats, as he posted an Instagram story saying that they make him want to get back on the gridiron.

"These make me even more wish I could suit up one last time!!" he wrote.

The defending national champs head into the matchup against the Nittany Lions undefeated, and they haven't had to sweat too much through the first seven games. Penn State has lost four straight as its struggles continue, but anything can happen in a rivalry game.

Ohio State will look to make James and the rest of the Buckeye faithful happy with a ninth consecutive win over the Nittany Lions.
