It may not have been subtle, but it clearly had the 8-0 Aggies in the right mindset heading into the crucial SEC showdown. Most teams don't beat LSU at Tiger Stadium, let alone stomp them like Texas A&M just did.
"They tried to put a quote up there that I said that Death Valley was underwhelming," Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed told reporters after the game. "And shoot, I guess it was. They didn't do much to me."
The Aggies hadn't won in Death Valley since 1994. They clearly came into the game with plenty of motivation to end that drought, and in the process kept the SEC title and national championship hopes very much alive.
