Jeremiah Smith Appears on Red Bull Can in New Photo as Part of Historic NIL Contract

Andrew PetersOct 22, 2025

Jeremiah Smith has landed a historic NIL deal.

Per On3, the Ohio State star wide receiver inked a deal with Red Bull and is now the first-ever college athlete to appear on a Red Bull can. According to On3, Smith has a $4.2 million NIL valuation.

The new partnership with Red Bull adds to Smith's extensive list of NIL deals. Over the summer, he joined the Adidas family of athletes and was a cover athlete for EA Sports' College Football 26.

He also has NIL deals with 7-Eleven, American Eagle Outfitters, Nintendo, Lululemon and more, per On3. At $4.2 million, he has the third-highest NIL valuation among all college athletes and the highest for a non-quarterback. He is only behind Texas quarterback Arch Manning and Miami quarterback Carson Beck.

It's no surprise to see brands flock to Smith after the true freshman season he had. In his first year with the Buckeyes, he racked up 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns, helping Ohio State win a national championship.

He's off to a strong start again this year, collecting 602 receiving yards and seven touchdowns through the first seven games as the No. 1 Buckeyes have cruised to a perfect record. He has the fourth-most receiving yards in the Big Ten and the second-most touchdowns.

Smith is just 19 years old and is a sophomore, so he won't be eligible for this year's NFL draft. When he is ready to make the jump to the pros, it won't be surprising if he's one of the first players off the board.

In the meantime, he can keep dominating the collegiate game and racking up NIL deals.
