Kalen DeBoer and No. 6 Alabama defeated No. 11 Tennessee 37-20 in an electrifying SEC showdown on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

The game's defining moment came just before halftime, when Alabama defensive back Zabien Brown returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown, igniting the crowd and shifting momentum firmly in the Crimson Tide's favor to lead 23-7.

The Crimson Tide improved to 6-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in SEC play, while the Volunteers fell to 5-2 and 2-2 in conference play.

Ty Simpson completed 19-of-29 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Rico Scott and Isaiah Horton for scores. Jam Miller and Daniel Hill added rushing touchdowns.

Tennessee will travel to Kentucky on Saturday to face the Wildcats, while the Crimson Tide head to South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks.
