
Adidas Reveals Official Game Ball for 2026 World Cup in New Photos
Adidas unveiled the official game ball that will be used in the 2026 men's World Cup on Thursday.
The ball's designers said one of the goals of the design was the showcase the three host nations, the United States, Mexico and Canada.
In celebration of the unveiling, the sphere in Las Vegas projected every World Cup ball since 1970 leading up to this year's edition.
The 2026 World Cup will feature a number of firsts. It will be the first tournament hosted by three different nations, and also will be the first iteration of the famous event to include an expanded 48-country field.
The World Cup will kick off on Thursday, June 11 with Group A play featuring Mexico. Both the United States (Group D) and Canada (Group B) will begin play on Friday, June 12.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday, July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
