The 23-year-old knows what it takes to succeed in Boulder, as he helped Colorado finish with a 9-4 record during his senior season at the school in 2024.

Sanders completed 74 percent of his throws for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns compared to just 10 interceptions, averaging 8.7 yards per attempt. He finished No. 8 is Heisman Trophy voting.

The Buffaloes currently sit at 2-3 to open their 2025 campaign, trading wins and losses in each of the first five weeks of the year.

Colorado owns the third-worst scoring offense in the Big 12, recording 25.8 points per game. The Buffaloes are also giving up 404.8 yards per game defensively, the second-most in the conference.

As Sanders navigates through his rookie year with the Browns, he's still keeping an eye on his former team.
