Lane Kiffin Shares Photo with Daughter Landry Ahead of Game vs. Whit Weeks, LSU
Before Saturday's SEC clash with No. 4 LSU, Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin posted a photo of himself with his daughter, Landry, on the field at the Rebels' Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
Landry Kiffin got the college football world buzzing earlier this week when she posted a photo of herself sitting on the lap of LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, apparently going public with their relationship just days before the LSU vs. Ole Miss game.
Lane responded to the photo in a subsequent post on X, writing, "Take the over."
Saturday's game could have a significant impact on the race for the SEC title since both LSU and No. 13 Ole Miss are a perfect 4-0.
Taking down the Tigers won't be easy, though, as head coach Brian Kelly's squad looks like a potential national title contender. Quarterback and Heisman Trophy contender Garrett Nussmeier is a big reason why, as is a defense that is allowing just 9.3 points per game.
Last season, Weeks led the Tigers with 120 tackles. He has just eight tackles and a half-sack four games into his junior campaign, but the defense has thrived as a whole.
The Ole Miss offense represents LSU's toughest test yet since the Rebels are averaging nearly 45 points per game this season.
Kiffin has long been viewed as one of the best offensive minds in college football, and he could be in a chess match with the LSU defense, which is led by his daughter's boyfriend.
The storylines surrounding undefeated LSU against undefeated Ole Miss were already interesting enough, but adding the Kiffin-Weeks angle into it ensures that even more eyes will be on one of the biggest games of the week.
