Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin Jokes About Daughter Landry Dating LSU LB amid Viral Photo

Julia StumbaughSep 23, 2025

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin reacted on Monday night to his daughter, Landry Kiffin, sharing an Instagram photo with LSU linebacker Whit Weeks days before this weekend's Ole Miss-LSU matchup.

"Take the over," Kiffin wrote when responding to a screenshot of the photo shared on X.

LSU and Ole Miss, both undefeated heading into the weekend, are set to kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET in Mississippi.

Landry had previously referred to Weeks as her boyfriend in a TikTok with his sister, Kate Weeks, posted earlier this month (h/t Old Row Sports).

Weeks has helped LSU out to the team's 4-0 start by recording 11 tackles, including one for loss, as well as 0.5 sacks.

The Tigers, which have ranked in the top four of the AP poll since Week 2, head into the matchup having defeated No. 4 Clemson, Louisiana Tech, Florida and Southeastern Louisiana.

The Rebels have meanwhile climbed the rankings each week this season, from a No. 21 preseason to No. 13 heading into Week 5, after wins over Georgia State, Kentucky, Arkansas and Tulane.

A win over LSU could be enough to get Ole Miss in the top 10 for the first time since Week 13 of the 2024 season.

Ole Miss heads into the matchup facing a 38-65-3 overall record against their SEC rivals. That includes a 2-3 record under Kiffin, who has coached the Rebels since 2020.

The programs have traded home wins over the past four years, with LSU claiming the most recent victory after a 26-29 win last October in Baton Rouge.

Kiffin will hope the matchup coming back to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium means his program is getting back into the rivalry win column this weekend.
