Despite Oklahoma State's disappointing 1-2 start to the 2025 season, head coach Mike Gundy made it clear that he isn't planning on going anywhere.

Per ESPN's Eli Lederman, Gundy told reporters in a news conference Monday that he doesn't expect the this season to be his last with the Cowboys.

"100 percent," Gundy said when asked if he intended to remain at Oklahoma State beyond the 2025 season.

The Cowboys suffered a 19-12 loss to Tulsa on Friday night in a massive upset, as it was their first loss against the Golden Hurricane since 1951. Oklahoma State has now lost 11 of its last 12 games dating back to the 2024 season and 11 straight games against FBS opponents.

Gundy, who is in his 21st season as head coach of the Cowboys, was speaking on the 17th anniversary of his infamous "I'm a man, I'm 40" rant. He remained bold in his declaration that he plans on stick around.

"I'm under contract, here, for I think 3½ years," Gundy said. "When I was hired here to take this job, ever since that day, I've put my heart and soul into this and I will continue to do that until at some point, if I say I don't want to do it or if somebody else says we don't want you to do it."

Oklahoma State is set to open Big 12 play against Baylor on Saturday. The Bears are 2-2 and are coming off a 27-24 loss to Arizona State.
