New Features
3 of 3
Like most sports releases, there are only so many changes that can be made without taking away the purity of the game. As was the case with Madden 26 and NCAA 26, the use of AI to enhance the gameplay experience becomes the next best option and that is present in this year's FC 26.
Movement is more explosive than ever and feels more authentic than before.
There are also two new gameplay styles that, according to the game's official website, are "each built for a different way to play."
The Competitive style is a head-to-head option that can be found in Clubs and Ultimate Team modes while Authentic brings the real life feel of the sport to modes such as Career. It features, "more positionally-responsible defenders, realistic corner success rates, lifelike goalmouth scrambles, and more."
Archetypes allows gamers to build and sculpt their created players into one of the greats of the game using unlockable Signature Playstyles.
Different tournaments and live events make for a more immersive online experience.
Perhaps most intriguing is the revamped Be-A-Goalkeeper system, which includes upgraded AI, new controls and assists, and the ability to "test test their ability on the Rush pitch exclusively in Clubs Rush."
