Deion Sanders' Speech to Colorado Players After Loss to Houston Revealed in New Video
Deion Sanders and Colorado are 1-2 on the season after falling short against Houston on Friday, but Sanders believes his squad can turnt hings around.
Sanders met with his players following the loss and told an anecdote about Dabo Swinney and Clemson starting a season 1-2 but finishing 10-2. Sanders asked his team, "Why not us?"
Sanders went on to address some mistakes but also noted some positives from the loss. His full speech can be found here (1:50 mark):
Colorado opened the season with a 27-20 loss to Georgia Tech, though that narrow loss is looking a little bit better after the Yellow Jackets upset No. 12 Clemson on Saturday.
The Buffs picked up a win against Delaware in Week 2 before losing to the Cougars 36-20 last week.
After losing stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter to the NFL draft last season, there was bound to be a rebuilding period for Colorado. There's still plenty of time for the Buffaloes to turn things around, and they'll look to start moving in the right direction when they face Wyoming this week.
